Board Membership

The Long Beach Arts Council is an 11-member volunteer City board comprised of residents of various backgrounds. Board members attend monthly board meetings and volunteer their time and resources to support the arts in Long Beach through various programs and events. Board meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 7-9pm at the Long Beach Library.

Our mission is to encourage artistic awareness and to enhance the cultural environment of Long Beach by promoting all media of the arts and arts education, increasing the display of art in public spaces, and fostering collaboration among the various local arts organizations.
