The City of Long Beach Arts Council is proud to host “Earth Love LB” A week-long celebration of art, sustainability, and community connection taking place during Earth Week 2026.
Through hands-on workshops, public art, local business and artists partnerships, art trail, and a culminating fundraiser.
Earth Week highlights artists who transform discarded, reclaimed, and ocean-found materials into celebrating Mother Earth and Father Surf into meaningful works of art—showing how creativity can inspire environmental action.
Holiday Tree -December 5th 2025
This holiday season, the Long Beach Arts Council and LB Clean Up came together to turn our shoreline into holiday magic. Seashells collected from Long Beach beaches were shared with East Elementary School and Lindell Elementary School, where art teachers guided students in transforming them into festive ornaments. These one-of-a-kind creations now decorate the City of Long Beach Christmas tree—celebrating sustainability, creativity, and community while creating joyful memories for our youngest artists.
Community Night Out - August 5 2025
What an incredible and successful Community Night Out in Long Beach! 🌟 We were so happy to meet, welcome, and connect with our neighbors while sharing creativity through our arts and crafts activation. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to make the night extra special—together we celebrated community, creativity, and connection. 💙✨
Emma June 22, 2025
The LBNY Arts Council in partnership with the Long Beach Public Library and Eastline Theater are pleased to present Emma, a play by Kate Hamill, based on the novel by Jane Austen. The FREE production will take place on Sunday, June 22 at 2pm in the Long Beach Public Library auditorium.
