About Us

Our Mission

The Long Beach Arts Council (LBAC) is a City agency whose mission is to encourage artistic awareness and to enhance the cultural environment of Long Beach by promoting all media of the arts, increasing the display of art in public spaces, and fostering collaboration among the various local arts organizations.

Our Board

Comprised of Long Beach residents of various backgrounds who volunteer time and resources in support of bringing art and culture to life throughout the City year-round. Projects include, but are not limited to: PorchFest, Earth Week programming, public art projects, and theatrical performances.
