The City is making several of its boardwalk beach ticket booths available to artists to be painted with a cohesive mural design. If you are interested, please submit your artwork through the link below by the deadline.

Description of Work:

• The City seeks a cohesive mural design to be painted on all four exterior sides of each beach ticket booth station, including doors and windows.

• Multiple beach ticket booths will be made available, so it’s anticipated that multiple artists will be procured.

• Artists are to supply their own materials. Only exterior grade paint may be used.

• Ticket booths will be pre-primed by the City.

• The beach ticket booth dimensions are X by X by X

Payment: $500 payment, plus $100 reimbursement for supplies.

Timeline:

Sunday April 19:  Deadline to submit renderings

April 20-24:  Winning artists will be selected and notified

Saturday May 2: Painting to take place in Kennedy Plaza in front of City Hall. Note that painting should be completed in one day.

Additional Information

• Artists will be permitted to sign their work and include social media handles

• All designs to be reviewed/approved by a City designated representative or panel prior to execution.
