
Interested in teaching a course?
The LBNY Arts Council is seeking proposals from artists and crafters who can teach self-contained classes groups. This RFP aims to identify talented individuals who can provide engaging and educational experiences in various art and craft disciplines. Selected artists will have the opportunity to share their skills and knowledge with participants of different age groups and experience levels.

a) Relevance and Creativity:
- The proposed class aligns with the mission and goals of the LBNY Arts Council.
- The craft or art form is unique, innovative, and engaging.
b) Teaching Experience:
- The artist/crafter has prior experience teaching similar classes.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with participants.
c) Suitability for Target Audience:
- The proposed class is suitable for the specified age group(s) and experience level(s).
- The content is appropriate and engaging for the intended participants.
d) Space and Resource Requirements:
- The artist/crafter has clearly outlined their space and equipment needs.
- The requirements are feasible and align with the resources available.

After the submission deadline, the LBNY Arts Council will review all proposals and select the most suitable candidates for further consideration. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview or demonstration of their teaching skills.

Selected artists/crafters will enter into a contract with the LBNY Arts Council. The terms of the contract, including compensation, will be negotiated individually with each artist/crafter based on their proposal and experience.
